not impressed without spacer

I've just removed the spacer and to be honest I think it's performing worse! Maybe it will go back in.
My other problems are THE oil leak, please give me an idea of when intrudn posted his solution the next is one of my front suspension is leaking, this I have no real idea how to fix, I've ordered the spares(seals) but don't know what to do with them, please help.
